The new section of the A470 between Builth Wells and Newbridge on Wye is now open so turn left at the roundabout opposite the Showground and approach from Newbridge. Brown tourist signs point the way from Newbridge. Keep your eyes open for the otter chasing the salmon on the right as you proceed north.
